Skywire miner switch/router
#1
I know eventually the miner will be totally diy, but if I remember correctly there was talk that the sky team had to get a custom ethernet switch built because they were having issues with off the shelf ones.  Does anyone see this as being an issue?  Also do we have any idea as to when we can purchase the custom sky switch/router?

i knew there was 2 situations:

1 openwrt giga router with 8 ports
or
1 openwrt giga router with fewer ports + giga switch with 8 ports

So, someone posted in the Telegram group this router on Amazon. Has 4 ports, so a switch would be necessary if you run 8 Orange Pi's.  OP said this supported OpenWRT, but I didn't see that in the item description on Amazon.  Does anyone have thoughts on whether this would be suitable or if there is a better option?

Why do we need a router anyway?
A 8+1 gigabit switch to be connected to the ISPs router might be the best solution for testnet, or not?
Maybe like this:

To temporarily bypass government regulation on internet, and avoid ISP eavesdropping / cutting off your service / being sued for shit reason / law enforcement raiding your home.
I'll expect a harsh battle later.
